Toula Saratsis
About Me
Toula is a non-medical end-of-life practitioner (certified & NEDA proficient) who supports clients, their families and communities during serious illness, at end-of-life, and for after death care. She was called to this work after her daughter Angelica’s anticipated passing from a life limiting condition at nearly seven years old. Toula provides customized services for all ages and at different EOL stages with a holistic approach to maintain well-being, hope, and dignity. She specializes in perinatal and pediatric palliative care, end-of-life and after death care needs. An experienced educator serving for over 25 years in public schools, she teaches in different settings and mentors doulas interested in pediatrics. This advocacy also includes companioning doulas and home funeral guides working on pediatric cases. Toula is committed to community death care education and its impact on cultural change in the tapestry of innovation for creating brave spaces and equitable access to services.
