Death can be an uncomfortable topic, but it’s something we’ll all
need to address sooner or later. In life, we know the importance
of living sustainably and taking care of the planet.
But what about in death? You can ensure that your last act on
earth honors your values and gives back.

We could not agree more.

And NOR4Michigan was born.

One of our goals is to create a coalition of people all over
Michigan to give voice to green burial options, normalize the
conversation and create legislation to allow Natural Organic
Reduction (aka human composting) in Michigan.
Simply email us at NOR4Michigan@gmail.com to become part
of this important effort and join our quarterly Zoom calls. The
calls are informative and contain topics such as which funeral
homes support green burial, where can you find a cemetery that
allows green burials, and more importantly, what can you do to
help bring natural organic reduction to Michigan.
Imagine, our bodies could become a fertile source of new life. Perhaps
we could change how we view a corpse. We could begin to view it as
our bodies, in their very decomposition, now becomes useful and
benefits our soils as well our planet.

The way we live impacts the world and we would like to have our
death contribute to the wellbeing of our planet.
Please consider joining us in this effort to bring NOR legislation to
our beautiful state we call home and improve our green burial
options.

The way we live impacts the world. So does the way we die.
